The PhorestAll project is committed to ensuring that the website is accessible to all users in accordance with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.

Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to the website https://phorestall.eu. To ensure accessibility requirements, certain adjustments have been systematically provided, such as:

  • responsive design (adjusting the layout of content to the screen resolution),
  • displaying content for users of assistive technologies (for example: screen readers),
  • keyboard navigation (adaptation for users who cannot use a mouse),
  • appropriate color contrasts (between text and background),
  • predictable website operation,
  • enabling images to be equipped with alternative text,
  • enabling the use of different levels of headings.

Level of compliance

The website is partially compliant with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act due to the exceptions listed below.

Inaccessible content on the website – assessment of disproportionate burden

We constantly monitor the accessibility of the website https://forestall.eu and continuously improve individual accessibility elements. Nevertheless, some published content may not meet all accessibility requirements as stipulated in the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act due to disproportionate burden. In online publications within the framework of the website https://forestall.eu, some documents intended for professional or narrow target audiences or that would represent a disproportionate burden due to their complexity are not accessible to users with various forms of disability. However, in the PhorestAll project, we are nevertheless making a great effort to ensure that all our content is as adapted as possible to potential users belonging to vulnerable groups. In the future, we will ensure that we publish documents in an accessible format to the greatest extent possible. Examples of such content are:

  • Scanned documents in PDF format - Some documents from the field of work organization and reporting are not accessible. The reason is the disproportionate burden, which the authority assesses with the human and financial burden that would be required if optimized.
  • Graphic elements in the form of images with captions (e.g. infographics) and some photos on the website are also decorative or only visually complement the text content, so all content can be accessed without the use of photos or their alternative texts.
  • Videos - some multimedia content is not accessible (e.g. subtitles of video content are missing). Some content is not edited due to the disproportionate burden (Article 6 of the Website and Mobile Applications Accessibility Act (ZDSMA)). The authority assesses the disproportionate burden as the significant financial consequences for the authority, as the volume of content is very large. In addition, most of the content is such that it changes and it would be difficult to ensure that the subtitles are up-to-date.
  • Various complex tables with data - the structure of tables and titles is not always optimal. The reason is the disproportionate burden, which the authority assesses with the human and financial burden that would be required to optimize.
  • Some elements do not have an optimal alternative description entered, as they are decorative images that do not have a proportional useful value for the user.
  • The website is not fully adapted for vulnerable groups (in more detail resulting from the accessibility assessment) i. The reason is the disproportionate burden that would arise for the project. The PhorestAll project assesses the disproportionate burden by saying that the financial consequences would be disproportionate to the benefit for the user, or in this case, there is no benefit for the user. All information from the website is also accessible to users in other ways (by telephone, personal visit).

Feedback and contact information, accessible alternatives

We can further improve accessibility by reporting your experiences with our website. If you encounter any problems or require access to information that is inaccessible, please let us know using the Report inaccessible content form.

You can send a notification of any non-compliance with the provisions of the Website and Mobile Application Accessibility Act and a request for information in an accessible format by regular mail or email.

You will receive a response within eight days of receiving your notification or request. If we are unable to provide a satisfactory response within this period, we will inform you of the date of the response and the reasons for the delay in responding.
